Hatty Ryan King (she/her) is a NY based actor with an affinity for playing vibrant, sensitive, and driven heroines. She specializes in contemporary musicals, having recently completed the national tour of Dear Evan Hansen as Zoe Murphy and a run as Anna in Frozen (inaugural cast of the Disney Destiny).

She places deep value on consistency, preparedness, and dependability, while always finding space for joy, whimsy, and a well-placed joke. Nicknamed “Chatty Hatty” from a young age, she thrives on the connection that comes from communication and collaboration. She believes the world would be a better place if we’d all just listen a bit more. 

Hatty grew up in Nashville, TN, surrounded by music, art, and a spiritual reverence for sweet tea. In high school she began working as a studio singer, lending her voice to projects with Music Theatre International, Disney Theatricals, Concord Theatricals, Hal Leonard, and many others. In 2017 she attended The Jimmy Awards and was named a finalist for “Best Actress in a Musical”. In her final year of college, Hatty joined the creators of VeggieTales on a new animated series called “Dead Sea Squirrels”, distributed by Go Minno and Amazon Prime. She voices a lovable 4th grade boy named Justin Kessler.
